Run your booth demo line — free, from any phone or tablet

When attendees crowd your booth for a demo, a paper clipboard only tells you how many signed up — not who's next or how long they'll wait. Add each attendee to a live queue, hand them a private link to their place and estimated wait, and let them walk the expo floor instead of clustering at the station. Every rep on the booth watches the same line on their own phone, and it keeps running even when the hall Wi-Fi doesn't. The booth waitlist is free — no signup, no per-attendee fees.

The trade-show-specific problems we solve

  • No crowd at the booth. Add each attendee to a live queue and give them a private link with their place in line and estimated wait, so they can walk the expo floor and check their link instead of hovering at the demo station.
  • Self-add by QR. Post a QR on the booth and attendees add themselves with their name and company as a note — your staff isn't tied up writing names on a clipboard.
  • Reorder for priority. Slot a scheduled demo, a partner meeting, or a press appointment to the front with a drag while everyone else keeps their fair place.
  • Notes on each attendee. Capture their company, the product they asked about, or which rep they spoke to as a per-person note so whoever runs the demo has the context.
  • A separate line per station. Run one line per demo pod, theater slot, or giveaway from the same booth so each station keeps its own queue.
  • The whole booth staff stays in sync. Every rep on the floor sees the same queue update in real time on their own phone, so two people never call the same attendee.

How it's different from a paper clipboard, a badge-scanner lead-retrieval device, or the show's event app

A paper clipboard sign-up sheet at the booth captures a name and nothing else — there's no order anyone can see, no wait estimate, and the attendee has to keep circling back to check if it's their turn. A badge-scanner lead-retrieval device captures contact details for your follow-up, but it gives the attendee nothing in return and no sense of a line at all — they still have to stand and wait. The show's own event app asks every attendee to download it and sign in before they can do anything, which is a lot to ask of someone who just wants a five-minute demo. None of those give a walk-up attendee a way to leave the booth and come back on their own terms.

This runs on the phone or tablet already on your booth. The line is live, each attendee sees their own place and estimated wait on their own phone, and you can reorder for a scheduled slot with a drag. If several reps are working the booth, they all open the same line and any of them can add the next attendee or call the next name — the queue never lives on one person's clipboard. Nothing to buy, nothing for attendees to install, no sheet to decipher afterward.

It also keeps working when the convention-center Wi-Fi doesn't. The app is a PWA that runs offline, so an overloaded hall network never wipes your line — attendees keep getting added and called, and everything syncs the moment you're back on signal. If you're setting up a temporary demo bar or a satellite station away from your main booth, the line works there too, with or without a reliable connection.

Common setups

Booth demo station

Attendees self-add by QR with their name and company, get an estimated wait on their phone, and walk the floor holding a private link instead of clustering at the station. Reps call the next attendee each time a demo unit frees up. A note on each attendee records their company and the product they were interested in, so the rep who takes them has context before they say a word.

Back-to-back theater or demo slots

Run scheduled demo or theater slots as a line so attendees know which slot they're in and roughly when it starts. Reorder to fit in a partner or press appointment without pushing anyone off their place. The public display board can go on a booth screen so attendees can see the upcoming slots and roughly where they stand.

Giveaway, headshot, or experience line

Run the giveaway, headshot booth, or VR experience as its own line so attendees join once, wander the floor, and come back when they're up — no roped-off queue eating your booth space. A large booth can run several of these lines at once, one per station, and switch between them in a tap.

Free vs paid — what you get

The whole booth waitlist is free: adding attendees, private links to each place and wait, self-add by QR, reordering, a separate line for each station, real-time sync across every staff phone, a public display board, per-person notes, and offline mode. You run the line at no cost and add attendees without a per-person fee. Multiple staff phones all share one live line at no cost, so the whole booth team can add and call attendees at the same time. You can also text attendees yourself from your own phone at no cost. The only thing on a paid plan is managed, automated texting — where the app sends "we're ready for you at the booth" SMS, WhatsApp, or email for you from a business number instead of you tapping them out. If you want to see how the tiers line up, you can compare plans.

Trade show queue FAQ

Is it really free?

Yes — the booth waitlist is genuinely free, with no signup and no per-attendee charge. Adding attendees, private links, self-add by QR, reordering, multiple lines, the display board, notes, and offline mode all cost nothing. Only managed, automated texting (the app sending messages for you from a business number) is on a paid plan.

Do attendees need to download anything?

No. Each attendee opens a private link in their normal phone browser to see their place and estimated wait. There's no app to install and no account for them to create — and they don't have to download the show's event app to join your line either.

Does it work when the convention-center Wi-Fi drops?

Yes. The app is a PWA that keeps running offline on your device, so when the hall network is overloaded you can still add attendees and manage the line. Convention centers routinely leave booths on flaky or oversubscribed connections, so the queue is built to run on the device in front of you rather than depending on a live server for every action. Everything syncs automatically when connectivity comes back.

Can attendees add themselves?

Yes. Post a QR on the booth and attendees add themselves with their name and company as a note, so your staff isn't stuck writing names down while a crowd builds at the station. Their name and company land on the entry as a note, so you have context without making them fill out anything long.

Can I run more than one line at the booth?

Yes. Run a separate line for each demo station, theater slot, or giveaway from the same screen and switch between them in a tap, so a large booth with several stations stays organized.

Try it at your trade show booth

Most lead-capture and event tools ask you to commit before you've seen a single screen — a hardware rental, a per-scan license, a booking with the show's tech vendor. We work the other way around. Open the app on whatever phone or tablet is already on your booth, and you can be running a live demo line within minutes. No account required to get started, no card on file, no rental to arrange. Whether it's a three-day expo or a single-afternoon regional show, you can spin up a line, run it, and close it out without a contract.

What "no signup" actually means in practice

When we say no signup, we mean the core workflow — adding attendees, calling the next person, tracking who's waiting — is available the moment you open the app. You don't hand over an email address to find out whether it holds up on the show floor. You find out it works, and then you decide whether to create an account so your line persists across sessions and across your team's phones. For a show that only runs a couple of days, that means you can try it on the first morning and keep using it through teardown without ever committing to anything.

Offline from day one

The "works offline" note in the header isn't a footnote. Convention-center Wi-Fi is famously oversubscribed, and cellular in a packed hall isn't much better. The app is built for exactly that: attendees keep getting added, names keep getting called, and the line stays accurate with no signal. There's no moment where the line freezes because a scanner lost its connection or the venue network buckled under ten thousand phones. When connectivity returns, everything syncs automatically.

What setup actually looks like

  1. Open the free app on your booth phone or tablet — no signup — and create a line called "Demo."
  2. Add the first attendees with their name and company, or post a QR on the booth so they add themselves.
  3. Reorder for a scheduled slot and add per-person notes as needed, while each attendee follows their own link to their place and wait out on the floor.
  4. Put the display board on a booth screen so waiting attendees can see the line at a glance.
