Sell tickets from your own page, paid into your own account

For small events, venues and recurring shows, a ticket marketplace sends your buyers to someone else's site. Waitlist App sells tickets from your own storefront and event page, the money goes to your own Stripe account, and your door staff scan QR tickets with the phones they already carry.

What it does

  • Events in minutes. Set the date, an in-person address or a virtual join link, the capacity, and when check-in opens. A short checklist shows what is left before you publish.
  • Ticket tiers. Give each tier its own price, quantity, per-order limit and sales window, such as early bird and general admission.
  • Assigned seating. Build a seating chart with seat classes such as standard, standing and accessible. Buyers pick their seats on a live seat map, and a seat can never be sold twice.
  • Paid to your own Stripe account. Buyers pay through your connected Stripe account and see your business on their card statement.
  • QR tickets by email. Each ticket arrives by email with its own QR code and ticket number, plus a ticket page that shows whether it is still valid.
  • Scan at the door with a phone. Open the scanner, point the camera, and the guest is checked in. Duplicates, refunded tickets, tickets for another event and arrivals before check-in opens are refused.

Where people buy

Your storefront

Tickets sit in the same cart as everything else you sell, on your own branded page. Share a link that opens straight onto one event.

A standalone event page

Each event can have its own page for general-admission sales. Seated events send buyers to your storefront to choose their seats.

At the venue

A tablet at the entrance takes a name and a phone number or email and sends the buyer a link to buy on their own phone. A TV display board can invite people to scan to buy.

Run the door, then close out the night

Door staff scan from any phone, with manual code entry for a dead battery or a cracked screen, and you decide who on your team can check guests in. One scanner can admit several events at the same location. A live count shows sold, checked in and remaining, and the attendee list filters by event and exports to CSV.

The morning after, you get a close-out summary: tickets sold and gross per tier, how many came, no-shows, and an estimate of your net after fees.

Guest lists, comps and refunds

Issue complimentary tickets yourself, or import a guest list from a CSV or Excel file, including exports from other ticketing tools. Review the import, create the tickets, then send everyone their passes when you are ready. Refunds are issued per ticket from your attendee list through Stripe, and you can revoke and reinstate a ticket without moving any money.

Showtimes and repeat events

Duplicate an event into as many showtimes as you need. Each copy keeps its own tickets and seat bookings, so a Friday and a Saturday show never share seats.

Add a waiver to the purchase

If your event needs a signed release, attach it to the cart and buyers sign it before they pay. See waivers and consent forms.

Free vs paid

Start with a free account. Selling tickets is included with Pro, or you can run a single event with a one-time Event Pass. A per-sale platform fee applies to ticket sales, with Stripe card processing included in it, and buyers pay the ticket price with nothing added on top. Current plans and prices are on the pricing page.

Event ticketing FAQ

Where does the money go?

To your own Stripe account. Ticket sales are charged through your connected Stripe account, and your business appears on the buyer's card statement.

Do buyers need an app?

No. They buy in their phone's browser and get their QR tickets by email. Their ticket page shows the QR code and whether the ticket is still valid.

Can I sell reserved seats?

Yes. Build a seating chart for your venue, price each seat class, and buyers choose their seats on a live map.

Can I bring over a guest list from another ticketing tool?

Yes. Import a CSV or Excel export, review it, create the tickets, and send everyone their passes in one go.

Can I sell tickets for more than one date?

Yes. Duplicate the event into showtimes. Each date has its own tickets and seats.

How do refunds work?

You refund individual tickets from your attendee list, and the money goes back to the buyer through Stripe.

Which countries and currencies?

Selling tickets needs online payments, which are available in supported countries. Ticket prices are in US dollars today.
